DJ-I.O. did an outstanding job at the City of College Park, National Night Out!!! He arrived during our set up period, he got prepared for the event, and he got the crowd energized. His music selection was great, and he worked with our team when presentations were being made. He did a very professional job and had a great attitude even with being outside in the heat.
Epic Events is wonderful! Jared and his team are communicative, lovely to work with and truly care about your experience. Not only have I been a guest at events they’ve been at but I used their photobooth and it was a hit. I will continue to use them for future events and parties. Highly recommend!!
Epic Events (Jared, Laz and the whole team) are fantastic! The glowing reviews for them are accurate. If you are considering them for a Mitzvah event, look no further and book them. Laz and his team did an amazing job at my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah Party! Everyone had such a great time, especially my daughter! She had a lot of input on the music and games and Laz really put together the party she dreamed of. We will definitely hire Epic Events for our next Mitzvah event!
Jared and the team at Epic Events were amazing for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Jared was our MC, with Desiree as the Motivator, Ayo helping DJ, and Amanda at the photo booth. Everything went off seamlessly and he was great at engaging our guests. He played all my daughter's favorite songs and she had the most amazing evening. I would HIGHLY recommend Epic Events for your celebration!
We used Epic for a DJ and photobook for our 5th grade promotion ceremony at school. They were so easy to work with, showed up on-time and kept the party running smoothly. They will be my go to going forward for any party planning needs.
We booked Laz as emcee for our son's bar mitzvah. He knew just how to work the crowd, and also how to read the room. The games were a ton of fun, and both kids and adults had a great time!

Jared and Lance were an amazing team! My daughter felt so heard, seen, and taken care of, it was a joy! Jared had been so open and clear with her before the event that my very shy daughter was comfortable coming up to him with requests. He included my younger daughter beautifully, stepped in to save trivia when our venue dropped the ball and was all around cheerleader extraordinaire, keeping everyone moving and having fun. My daughter came out of it saying “I didn’t realize how much I like to dance!” Thank you so much Jared and team for a night we won’t forget! We will see you in 4 years for the next one!
Epic Events did a fantastic job at our children's b'nai mitzvah. Laz and Ayo were amazing at keeping all the guest entertained and happy. Many folks commented on how great they were and can't wait to use Epic for their future events. Jared was very responsive and made the planning and overall experience super easy.
Working with Epic Events was nothing but seamless. Jared and his team are so knowledgeable, high-tech, and super friendly! Our roaming photobooth was a tremendous hit at our party, and the quality of the prints was spectacular! Thank you Epic!!
We had such a blast with Laz and John! They totally made the party!!! We met Laz at my sister’s wedding in 2025 and booked him immediately for our April 25 bat mitzvah. Best decision ever. They just know what music to play to get the crowd moving, and wow, everyone was moving for hours. Before dinner, after dinner, and even a little bonus track for the kids after the last song. We enjoyed working with Jared on the booking and getting everything ready on the back end. Can’t recommend Epic enough. We will enjoy these memories forever.
MC Laz Stark was outstanding. He kept the party moving, the energy high, and guests of all ages fully engaged from start to finish. He struck the perfect balance, fun and interactive without being over the top, and made sure every part of the event flowed smoothly. Former professional DJs who were guests remarked that he was among the best they had ever seen. Shoutout as well to DJ John for the music and Jamie the Motivator for helping keep the dance floor going strong. I’m pretty sure our little cousins thought she was a celebrity!
Jared and his team at Epic Events absolutely exceeded our expectations and made our seniors’ banquet a night they will truly never forget. DJ Element even reached out ahead of time to learn about our vision and what we wanted the night to look like, which made the entire experience feel thoughtful and personalized. He brought unmatched energy, reading the crowd perfectly and keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish. The atmosphere they created was incredible. From the moment we booked Epic Events through the entire planning process, everything was seamless and stress-free. Their communication was outstanding, always quick to respond, attentive to every detail, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. It’s clear they care deeply about what they do, and it shows in every aspect of their work. If you’re looking for a team that will go above and beyond to create an unforgettable event, I cannot recommend Epic Events highly enough. The DJ was professional, communicative, and easy to work with from the start; he reached out ahead of time to understand the evening's tone and preferences. He did an excellent job reading the room and selecting music that fit the moment. His transitions were smooth, and he successfully created the right atmosphere throughout the night. Overall, he brought a great energy to the event and helped make the evening enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely recommend Epic Events and would be happy to work with them again in the future.
From the very first informative video call to the last minute of the party, Jared and his team showed their commitment and care to help us throw a memorable, fun and unique party. Amazing, responsive, professional and great attitude overall. MC Noel is the nicest and coolest guy, kids and adults loved him. His energy and room reading was extraordinary. Money well spent, not cheap but worth it! Would definetly go with Epic again!
WOW! Epic Events provided the DJ, Entertainer, and Casino for our recent Chamber of Commerce rebranding celebration. Laz and John made the event feel as exciting as a family milestone party rather than a business event, and it was amazing! The energy was incredible all night long, and we even got unexpected people on the dance floor to join in the fun! We must do this again!
We booked Epic Events for our nonprofit fundraiser and it was a huge hit at our event. They were on top of everything which as a planner made our life easier. We will be using them for any future events!

We loved having Epic Events at our children's B'Nai Mitzvah. Working with Jared was so easy - he always responded to my emails, and set up meetings with us and the kids to learn more about what we wanted at our party. Jared and Noel kept us dancing the entire time! Even the older relatives were on the dance floor and couldn't stop talking about how great the entertainment was! Thanks for helping make our event perfect!

Epic Events sent the dream team to my son’s bar mitzvah. We gave very little direction: “lots of boys, do your best” and they were amazing! MC Laz, co-MC Noel, and DJ Element worked seamlessly together and got the kids engaged with games and swag. Kids I’d only ever seen play basketball were dancing, and kids I’d only ever seen play baseball were singing along to Miley Cyrus. Highly recommend all three!
We recently hired Epic Events to host our daughter’s bat mitzvah, and could not be happier with our experience! Jared is very professional and easy to work with. He listened to my daughter’s ideas, and matched us with MC Ricky, who was incredible! Ricky brought such a great energy to the party. He learned every kid’s name, and kept them engaged and dancing to the end. My daughter told me this was the best party she has ever been to!
Jared and Epic provided an amazing service for my daughter’s bat mitzvah. We used Epic for a Photo Booth, a dj, and an emcee, and everything was perfect. Communication leading up to the party was wonderful, they went above and beyond/thought of everything. And then they threw a great party. Will 100% use them again when my younger children have mitzvahs.
This is a fantastic company, very attentive and helpful to make sure that everything for our school event was just right. I highly recommend them. Their staff is always warm and friendly!

Epic events made our event truly an EPIC one! Jared and his staff were on time, professional, and delivered top-notch service. We had an awesome DJ and a super fun photo booth. I highly recommend adding the mobile walk-around photo booth in addition to the stationary booth. It was great fun. Will book Epic the next time I have a special event.

Jared Rosen of Epic Events was the linchpin of our mitzvah planning process. His intuitive event portal guided us through key decisions, from candle lighting ceremony details to games & music selections. DJs Laz and Wendy, were \*phenomenal\* and discretely attentive to the needs of our neurodiverse crowd. Laz's humor and charisma got every kid dancing, despite many of them meeting at the mitzvah for the first time; Wendy nailed the musical vibe (i.e., festive... but not too loud!) with precision and warmth. Epic Events truly exceeded every expectation.
Jared and his team helped make our Bar Mitzvah a fantastic event. My son did not want a big dancing event, and Jared helped provide just the right mix of dancing, games, and fun so that both kids and adults had a great time. The music was at a good volume and his dancer was not over the top- just the right level to make sure everyone had fun. The photo booth was a big hit. He also brought games like pop-a-shot, air hockey etc for use during the party (which we added on) and both kids and adults loved playing them.
From start to finish the party never stopped. Jared and his team were wonderful to work with. We could not have asked for a better experience!!
Jared Rosen is award winning in the DMV area for a reason. He takes the time to carefully curate the party of your dreams and vision and he comes through. As an MC he knows the audience and tailors the night. Epic is so organized from point of hire through to the party. We used a planning portal to go over timeline, song choices, entrance plans, game plans - basically he thinks of everything you need and plans for it with Zoom meetings as well. He is also super responsive on email. The night of the party itself could not have been better. Jared brought the energy as well as two motivators that everyone is still talking about. We had the time of our lives in large part because of Jared and Epic's hard work, skills and ability to read the room. Would give more than 5 stars if we could!
Jared / Epic Events was seamless and stress-free. Emcee Lance and DJ TK got everyone dancing and having an amazing time. We used Lance and TK for both our son's and daughter's mitzvot and recommend them highly.
Our experience with Epic was fantastic from start to finish. Our MC, Laz, put us at ease going into our event, and we worked together seamlessly. Laz and his team were high energy during the event and were great at involving the kids and the adults. The green screen photo booth was also a big hit. All our guests had a blast! We will definitely use Epic for our next event and highly recommend them for anyone in the DMV looking to host a great party!!
As one guest said, our son's bar mitzvah was "the best party I've been to in 20 years!" Since he was our decorator, he's been to a few parties and knows what he's talking about! Credit definitely goes to DJ Laz and his team! They kept the energy level just right and seamlessly covered time when the caterer was delayed. The photo booth was a highlight for our guests, and the Epic Events team was great at making the photos special with a custom layout. A great company to work with from beginning to end!
Talk About Service! Wow, this team truly delivers. I called with a simple request: uplighting for a gala. Not only did I get that, I got so much more. After learning about their Photo Booth setup, I decided to add that too. Here’s where the exceptional service comes in. When it came time to choose a backdrop and the wording for each photo strip, I made my selections. But Jared asked if he could tweak them a bit, and of course, I said yes. He’s the expert! He helped me choose a more fitting backdrop and adjusted the typography to better align with our theme. It made all the difference. And the service didn’t stop there. Throughout the evening, Jared lent his expertise again and again. He knew the venue inside and out, guided me through its lighting and sound setup, and even saved the day when our stage arrived without a skirt or carpet. Within thirty minutes, he had a solution, his connections in the events world pulled through, and our stage looked perfect. All of this to say: Jared and his team go above and beyond. Their attention to de tail, professionalism, and genuine care made our event shine. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
We rented lights from Epic Events for our wedding reception and they were absolutely perfect! They transformed the dance floor and created the exact atmosphere we were hoping for, and the team was super easy to work with. Would absolutely work with Epic Events again in the future!
These people were great! The MC really kept the party going in a fun, lively way. The DJ provided all the music that was requested. I couldn't be happier that we used them.
Epic events was fantastic from start to finish. The event planner was easy to use and incredibly well organized. Company owner and our DJ Jared offered incredible customer service and he and our motivator Dushaun kept kids and adults energized and engaged throughout the event. In addition to the music, Epic provided a great photo booth experience and quality decor and lighting. I highly recommend Epic Events for any upcoming party.
Jared and his team were amazing for my son's Bar Mitzvah. They did what seemed near impossible, keeping 40 kids (mainly boys) engaged and dancing the entire party! I couldn't have asked for a more professional, easy to work with team. They were even better the second time round (used them for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah two years ago) Thank you!!! Jared and his team did a fantastic job entertaining our guests at our daughter’s recent bat mitzvah. MC Wendy & DJ Noel had the kids moving all night, much to their enjoyment. Brianna was a pleasure operating the photobooth and kept people engaged and smiling. Highly recommend all of them.

Jared and his team understood he assignment! We hired Epic for my son's bar mitzvah and let them know in advance that he's not much of a dancer. We wanted them to basically pivot as needed depending on the vibe of the party, which is an annoying request, but they did it! Jared asked to get a pulse a one point if we wanted more music/dancing or if it was good and I appreciated that. Everyone had fun and Epic came through!

And, his team was great - from the Photo Booth coordinator to the motivators on the dance floor. MC Ricky was amazing with the kids and had the crowd up all night!
Epic Events was amazing (again) as the Entertainment of our school dance! Super communicative the entire planning process and day of the dance. DJ John was SO FUN- the kids had an absolute blast (and the parents too!) he even brought swag favors to pass out- above and beyond!
This vendor did an amazing job for our event. They were organized, very professional, paid attention to meticulous details and executed the event with much energy and enthusiasm. Many of guests were impressed and requested Epic Events for their future parties. I will use them again unconditionally. I have nothing but great things to say.

Neil was amazing on our big day. He made the pre planning and event execution go very smoothly. He also brought a controlled and calming presence at our wedding, which was a refreshing experience since everyone else around us was chaotic. We really enjoy the music mix as well and would highly recommend Neil to others. Great DJ experience all around!
We hired DJ Harvey from Maryland's DJ for our Wedding May 2026 and we were really impressed. Everyone was really responsive. Harvey was easy to stay in touch with ahead of the wedding, and then the day of he was on top of everything and was a great DJ. Kept the dance floor alive and really understood the vibe. Would recommend this business highly, and Harvey was great
We used Maryland’s DJ’s for our wedding and have nothing but great things to say!! Steve was our DJ and he absolutely DELIVERED. We immediately clicked during our initial meeting and I knew we needed to lock him down! He was so easy to communicate with, was super responsive and was extremely attentive! We absolutely LOVED him, as did our guests! Book with Maryland’s DJ’s and ask for Steve!! You will not regret it!!
I would definitely give Steve from Maryland's DJ a huge 10/10. He was responsive, attentively answered our questions and was so so helpful on our day to ensure everything went smoothly. We will definitely be recommending him moving forward, he had everyone on the dance floor the entire night!

Maryland DJ provided the audio services for our wedding. In the lead-up to the event, we met with Taylor, and she was very professional and organized. She assigned Steve Hartka as our DJ, and the fit was perfect. After meeting with Steve before the wedding, we were confident he understood the vibe we were going for. On the wedding day, Steve showed up on time with all the necessary equipment. His organization was great, and he was set up and ready well before the event started. During the ceremony, the microphones worked perfectly with no hiccups, and the aisle music was exactly as planned. For the rehearsal, Steve was prepared and in control, coordinating with us, our wedding coordinator, and other vendors to make sure everything was timed perfectly. The dance floor was filled consistently, just as we had hoped, and Steve handled all of the music requests from guests while sticking to the play/do-not-play lists we had prepared beforehand. Overall, it was a tremendous experience, and we highly recommend Maryland DJ. Five stars through and through. I would also like to give Steve a particular shoutout for two things. First, during the cocktail hour, we decided we wanted to surprise the groomsmen and change their walk-in song to a favorite of the group. Steve obliged and was able to make the change at a moment’s notice, just minutes before the walk-ins started. Second, Steve helped us prank the best man right before he gave his speech. It worked out flawlessly.
We loved everything about Brian our DJ and our sax player as well! They kept the dance floor moving all night! We had some last minute timeline changes with our dances and toasts due to a delay with the buses and Brian was super flexible, no one even knew things weren’t as originally “planned”! Thanks so much for a great experience!!
We worked with Steve for our wedding and it was the best! We were getting compliments from all our guests the morning after, some saying it was the best DJ they’ve seen at a wedding. There were always people on the dance floor and if it started to get thin, he knew exactly what to do to get it going again. 10/10
Huge thank you to Maryland's DJ for helping us celebrate our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ than Steve from Maryland's DJ! He kept everyone dancing all night as we celebrated our big day! He was extremely professional throughout the entire process and was masterful in matching the energy that we were looking for in a DJ. We also used the Video 360 provided by Maryland's DJ for some super fun videos that captured our guests at our celebration in a unique and special way. It's such a joy to see our friends and family so happy for us and celebrating in their own special way!
Maryland DJ's, especially Jordan and John Carmichael, were absolutely incredible to work with for my daughter’s Sweet 16! From my very first call with Jordan to go over the event and pricing, to the planning process with our DJ, John Carmichael, and the rest of the team who helped with add‑ons, photo booth prints, and social media, everything was seamless. They made the entire experience so easy. A DJ can truly make or break an event, and ours was amazing because of the DJ. John was out on the dance floor with the kids almost the entire night, keeping the energy high. The uplighting was the perfect touch, and the photo booth was a huge hit. I can’t recommend Maryland DJ's enough, hire them for your next party! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!
Unfortunately I'm going to be extremely biased in my review, as Steve is a personal friend of mine in the Baltimore DJ scene. He did an absolutely amazing job, especially considering I didn't even touch the portal or log in once (sorry!) but provided him with a run of show and song selection a few days before. He was super easygoing the day of, especially considering I'm a DJ myself and had a lot of in-the-moment requests/updates to the run of show- he did great and went with the flow! I had my brothers singing our first dance song live, and plugging them in with mics and 1/4 inch jacks for their instruments was no sweat for Steve! He went off-list when it mattered to keep the dance floor alive, and I don't think there was a moment when it died at ALL (and again, as a DJ myself that's the most important part!) Everyone has told me it was the most fun reception they've ever been to- and I know that's because of the music- so A for Steve, give him a raise, a promotion- everything! :)
Maryland DJs, and specifically DJ Steve were great to work with! Steve was very helpful in our planning process and then made sure our Wedding day ran smoothly, stayed on schedule, and was a blast! He was very easy to work with and set up meetings with and took the time to get to know us as a couple and that translated to everyone staying out on the dance floor all night. Our guests were complimenting his work to us as well! Highly recommend him for your future events!
DJ Ayo was so great at our highschool homecoming! He really brought the energy and even worked in a student performance which our kids really appreciated! Brilliant DJ, super professional, and incredibly talented. We also thank him for being able to accommodate us on such short notice!!!
Oh my gosh, our DJ, Harvey, was a 10 on everything!!! And the photo booth turned out better than I expected. It was amazing working with Harvey, he was basically our wedding coordinator! Everyone complimented his dj skills and my husband and I loved his transitions and making sure that we're still on schedule or if anything needed to be changed around due to time. Thank you for making our wedding day spectacular!!

Marylands DJs was easy to work with and our DJ Harvey was great. We had never hired a DJ before but their process put us at ease going into our wedding. The intro call was thorough and the touchpoints along the way were exactly what we needed. Their planning tool really helped us to think about what we needed for all the special moments. And for the areas where we didn't choose specific songs, Harvey knocked it out of the park.
We had the BEST time working with DJ Steve! He was so much fun to ideate with and delivered on all of our requests. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed his set and found him to be very personable! We had a few last minute requests that Steve was able to adjust and make work beautifully. I cannot recommend him enough and would love to work with him again in the future if the opportunity ever presented itself!
Marylands DJs was great to work with from start to finish. I really enjoyed my consult call with Taylor who matched us up with our DJ Steve. Steve made the entire process super easy, seamless, & not stressful! He was a perfect match for us. We loved how chill he was. His personality is great & he is extremely knowledgable when it comes to music. Our wedding was a hit, our dance floor was packed & he navigated the requests he knew we would not like perfectly. Maryland’s DJ was incredible to work with! They first met with us to see what we were looking for in a DJ, then matched us with Steve, who was a perfect fit for our wedding. Working with Maryland's DJ was great from Day 1. From the initial contact and discussions with Taylor and Steve about the vision for our night, we knew that we were in good hands. We had some issues with USPS and check delivery/cashing, but they quickly worked out a solution with us as soon as issues were discovered. Even with a diverse music taste and a wide age range, Steve kept the dance floor hopping from start to finish. He was even able to adjust on the fly to my wedding party's last-minute entrance changes. Our guests RAVED about the music and I can't recommend Steve and the team enough for any occasion. Thank you for making our special day so amazing.
Harvey was amazing throughout our whole wedding process! He made us feel comfortable and helped keep us calm throughout the months leading up to the wedding and didn't even seem concerned when we hadn't finalized our songs the week before our wedding. The music throughout the entire day was amazing and we cannot recommend Harvey/Maryland's DJ enough! We also got the photobooth, which ran smoothly all night and had no issues. Guests loved the pictures!
We worked with Jordan for our wedding and my legs are still sore from never having left the dance floor. Jordan was involved in every stage of our planning process and made himself readily available for any questions, concerns, or random additions. He was even prepared for changes we needed to make on the fly, day of during the celebration. He read the room throughout the night and kept the dance floor packed and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect night; due in large part to Jordan and his team. If you need a DJ for an event you have coming up, there is really only one option in Maryland's DJ. The name of the company is fitting because they are by far "THE" Maryland's DJ and not just "A" DJ in Maryland 1
Working with Maryland’s DJ was an absolutely amazing experience throughout the course of our wedding planning journey. From the minute that we first contacted them, Jordan and Mike were extremely professional, attentive, and best of all- FUN! Their online portal was a great tool, allowing us to quickly and easily plan everything from song lists to lighting schemes for our wedding ceremony and reception. During the course of the wedding evening, DJ Mike did a fantastic job of making announcements to keep the party flowing and playing songs that kept feet on the dance floor. We received many compliments regarding the mix of lighting and music that DJ Mike provided throughout the night, and they were absolutely correct. Our venue (Baltimore Museum of Art) included large rooms with high ceilings, but Mike did a fantastic job of lighting them and controlling the acoustics. We can’t say enough good things about Maryland’s DJ, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area! 2
I am a professional wedding photographer of over a decade and Jordan and Maryland’s DJ have been at the top of my recommended list since we first worked together nearly 10 years ago. The entire team is professional and top notch at what they do. With Maryland’s DJ I can assure not only that the event will go smoothly logistically, but also that I’m working with an amazing team making things easier for me. Maryland DJ was our wedding DJ and it was the best! Steve Hartka was friendly, professional, and had great communication throughout the whole planning process. The online platform was so easy to use and add our favorite songs along with our do not plays. At the reception, Steve kept the party going all night long. He read the room and knew just what to play to get everyone out on the dance floor! I would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding to hire a DJ from here!

Maryland’s DJ was INCREDIBLE. Before our event, there was really good communication from everyone on the team, including the automated reminder emails, personal emails, and our original intake. We really liked that we had so many options of DJs to choose from, too. We also really liked the portal and how we could sort through/choose songs in there. Neil, who actually worked our event, was the absolute best. He met with us several times to make sure things were just right. He matched our vibe and kept people on the dance floor throughout the night. The transitions between songs were awesome. He was a guiding presence to the guests and kept the spotlight on us. We had an absolutely fantastic time working with Maryland DJ! We got married this past weekend and had about 140 guests in attendance. We worked with DJ Neil, and he was an absolute professional throughout the day. Our ceremony went on without a hitch, even with our family friend playing the keyboard at our outside ceremony space with support from Neil. He executed any announcements that we had flawlessly and made sure all of our guests knew exactly what was going on throughout the evening. When it came to the dance floor, Neil knew exactly how to keep the party going. I am very particular about the music played on the dance floor, and Neil took my playlist and really made it into his own. I felt that all the songs that I wanted to hear were played, and Neil masterfully read the room and played songs that he knew would elevate it to the next level. We cannot say enough great things about DJ Steve! From the moment we connected, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with. During the cocktail hour, he played timeless classics by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, creating an elegant and classic vibe. As dinner began, he transitioned seamlessly into some lively swing music, which added so much energy to the room. When it was time to party, Steve wen through the decades, playing all the hits from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s. We sang and danced our hearts out to all of our favorites. He read the crowd perfectly, and the dance floor was packed all night long! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had and how sore they were from all the dancing, and we owe so much of that to Steve’s ability to keep the energy going all night. Jordan was an AMAZING dj at our wedding, which we knew he would be because he was a fantastic dj at my brother's wedding too! He kept everything running smoothly and played the greatest music of all time! Without my knowledge, several of my friends even offered to pay him to stay longer! Maryland's DJ was professional and reliable, and super responsive to emails. We worked with Alex who was awesome! It was super easy-we made a playlist on Spotify of the type of songs we wanted and he went with it. Our dance floor was so fun and was exactly what we had envisioned. Had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Brian and Maryland's DJ! They have several DJ's in their company which I appreciated, the first meeting was seeing what kind of music we wanted played and what the vibes of the day we were looking for. We spoke with Andrew and he helped us figure out who would be the best match for us and he nailed it with us having DJ Brian! Everyone at the wedding said they had so much fun and everyone was dancing the night away. I think he did a great job of taking requests and playing what we wanted. The wedding was AMAZING! Brian did a phenomenal job picking songs off the must play list that kept people dancing. We got great feedback on the song choices and he clearly listened to us when we were discussing volume/ the Horah. Tyler and I were worried about music too loud; Brian did a wonderful job with that. On the dance floor, we could hear everything fine and by the tables we could talk at a good level! Moreover, for the Horah we asked for the moms/ dads to be lifted together and he did that, too. No complaints! During the ceremony and introductions he played all the correct songs, too! :D In conclusion, we were thrilled with the services and glad I asked my friend for her DJ company from her wedding in September of 2023. We will be recommending y'all!
We loved Neil, Josh, and the lighting. Everything was perfect. They were all super professional and got there early. Neil was outstanding. DJ Brian from Maryland DJ was great! He didn’t overly MC like a bat mitzvah/sweet 16 DJ would and let the music do its thing. He had awesome transitions and was really flexible with the weather moving the wedding inside and starting later than anticipated. Everyone at MD's DJ was so great to work with! Taylor helped with scheduling and coordination, and she was so responsive, kind, and a joy to work with! DJ Steve was originally supposed to do our wedding and he produces music as well as DJing, so when I brought him a first dance song that I loved but felt too long, he helped me rework it keeping all of the sentimental parts while trimming it down to a reasonable time. Awesome DJ experience from beginning to end. When considering all the different vendors for our wedding, we knew to have a great DJ was important to us. We inquired with quite a few but when we met Jordan, the decision was easy. The entire process was smooth and made us less stressed for our big day. Having Jordan as our wedding DJ was an absolute delight. The first time we ever spoke to Jordan, it was for close to an hour as he laid out his experience as a DJ, particularly with weddings, and answered all of our questions about why we should consider hiring him. Since that initial interview, Jordan was always available to us via phone, text, or email, often responding within the hour, and was happy to answer the most trivial of questions that we had. Jordan prepared thoroughly before the wedding, sending us a detailed questionnaire, schedule, and song list to complete, to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. And we met via video chat a couple weeks before the wedding just to talk everything over and iron out any remaining details. At the wedding itself, Jordan was terrific. He arrived early. He coordinated with our other vendors and the staff at the venue to set up his equipment so that we weren't disturbed. He made introductions, provided announcements, and, of course, kept the dance floor grooving for the entire night. Not to mention, the photo booth that we reserved through Maryland's DJ was a massive hit with our guests! Everything unfolded seamlessly On top of all the things I mentioned above, Jordan is quite simply a genuine, friendly, and easygoing person. My wife and I liked talking to and interacting with him. He made our lives a little less hectic while planning a wedding in the midst of the ongoing pandemic: no small feat. We decided to go with Maryland DJ after having a fantastic introductory call with the owner Jordan Solender. We booked DJ Mike Q for our wedding date and had access to easy planning tools to where we could add different "must play" and "do not play" songs. Sadly Mike Q ended up getting covid the Friday before the wedding, but Maryland DJ also always has an unscheduled DJ on staff in case something comes up and DJ Neil was able to fill in beautifully! He made the dance floor come alive, and we received so much praise from guests about the DJ's song choices. It was hands down the best dance floor I've seen at a wedding, and Maryland DJ was a major part in making that happen. Would definitely recommend Maryland DJ and DJ Neil! 1

We worked with Mike Q and had the most amazing experience. We told him our highest priority was to never have a lull in the dance floor and he absolutely delivered. Our guests were dancing all night long and everyone told us how amazing the DJ was. We had a crowd of all different ages and he did a great job of mixing in songs for everyone. We also talked about him playing songs fast and not staying on one song for too long, and he did this better than I could have imagined and he got through every song I wanted to hear and was able to take requests as well from our guests. Even the people in the bar below us were asking who our DJ was and said he was the best they have ever heard at the venue. He was also so professional and we loved working with him. Thank you so much Mike!!! Next time we need a DJ we will 1000% book him again, and you should too!

We could not have asked for a better DJ than Steve from Maryland's DJ for our wedding. Steve was great to work with from the get-go: he was communicative, responsive, and super easy to get along with. Our music taste is very particular and Steve really "got" us. We had an amazing experience with our DJ Mike Q. Before we even chose to hire Maryland's DJ, he invited us out to see him perform which we HIGHLY recommend to any couple looking for a DJ. We got to see his style and read the energy in the room. Our wedding reception could not have gone any smoother. He checked in with us before and after big moments and made sure we were comfortable at all times (including being down to cut some dances short if needed). We really appreciated this because being in front of hundreds of people can be a LOT. His MC skills are top tier and the dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT LONG! Jordan was the best DJ we could've hoped for at our wedding! He was super responsive in the planning stages ahead of the big day, and was quick to accommodate all of our crazy last minute changes. Ross Hyatt DJ'd our wedding. Maryland's DJ promised us an amazing experience and Ross DELIVERED! From the start, the process of establishing with their team was easy despite us being out of state. Each member of the team was kind, helpful, and prompt. Once we were paired with Ross as our assigned DJ, most of our communication/collaboration was through him. He was always responsive, kind, and professional regardless of day of the week or time of day. He DJ'd each aspect of our wedding (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) and MC'd each aspect exactly how we requested and discussed in our various meetings leading up to the big day. If this wasn't already enough, when food was spilled on my wife's dress during dinner, he was one of the first to come running over with a towel and water to help. The entire Marylands DJ team was kind and professional, and their whole process was very streamlined and detail-oriented! Their forms and online platform made it easy to plan music selections and figure out timelines. We had a micro wedding of about 40 guests, and our DJ Mike was awesome... he was able to identify our tastes in music and catered playlists to them. A good wedding DJ does more than play music. They help manage the flow of the day, they provide atmosphere and ambience, and most importantly, they run the fun on the dance floor. If you want a DJ service that matches your needs, that MCs as well as they DJ, and are a great time at your party, gathering, wedding, etc., you want Maryland’s DJ and you want DJ Steve. Steve isn’t the only DJ they have, but he ended up as DJ for our wedding after we met and consulted with Maryland’s DJ. They make a wonderful effort to match a couple with the styles of one of their excellent DJs. Their online portal provides lots of avenues to control the songs couples would like (or not!) at their wedding, and communication is always open. On the wedding day, DJ Steve was smooth as can be. He worked with us to facilitate a few last-minute lineup changes to the wedding party, to manage to the minute various announcements and scheduling of dances, was a wonderful and energetic MC, and when the dancefloor opened, he was an absolute joy to have at the DJ table. His mixes are on point and he works with you to make sure you’re getting the songs and sounds you and your guests want. You can’t go wrong with these folks. 1

--Tl;dr stop reading this review and go book them right now! --We used Maryland’s DJ for our wedding reception and they were the most complimented vendor of the night. --Of the DJs we interviewed Marylands DJ was by far the most professional and put together, and from the beginning we trusted their whole team. This was important because the original DJ we booked with had a conflict on our wedding day, and we weren’t concerned in the slightest when we were assigned a new DJ. --The DJ for our wedding was DJ Mike Q and he was absolutely spectacular. He emceed very well following our instructions in their planning portal. He also could improvise well, like when I asked him to give a shout out to one of our grandmothers because it was her birthday. He also picked up on a song referenced in the best man’s speech and played it later in the night. He also takes song requests! --DJ Mike Q was so good at keeping folks on the dance floor. I kid you not, it was packed all night and he mixed in a lot of songs we put on a list that gave him our dancing music vibes. I remember I was viben so hard that I forgot to drink anything between 8 and 9 pm. Maybe we’re biased, but compared to the previous few weddings we attended DJ Mike Q absolutely played the best music for dancing from beginning to end. --He also added some fun mixes into the song list that made us belly laugh a few times. --We got the photobooth and they did a great job with it. Got all the photos within a day or two of the wedding from that. That was easy to use and we were glad we got it because it gave folks a break from dancing. --They also provided lighting and were super experienced and helpful when we had no idea how to pick what would look good in our venue --The online planning tool and regular email reminders were great tools to help us plan our music independently on our own time. --We didn’t book them for the ceremony, but I’m sure they would have done well. --We got uplighting from them and it looked great in the barn. They knew exactly where to put it and we didn’t even have to think about it. We trusted them and they delivered. 1

We hired Maryland's DJ for our wedding reception (the official gathering after a 2020 courthouse ceremony) and I was blown away by how helpful they were throughout the entire process. I'm not really a music person and had no idea what songs to suggest but our guests (and embarrassingly myself) were singing and dancing all night. I was kind of sad going in to the re-do wedding reception as it didn't really feel like the real thing, and I was afraid that our friends and family would feel the same way too, but Maryland's DJ helped to give our reception the authentic first-time feeling and I am so happy with the way everything came together. 10/10!! Overall, I'd recommend Maryland's DJ for weddings and special events. As an outfit, they're as slick and professional as it gets. Their online tool is fantastic, especially if you're like we are and feel the need to carefully tweak the music selections over and over again! It's surprising what you'll find in their database, and you can very easily add your own music for whatever's missing. The uplighting was extremely tasteful (especially since our venue had a lot of decorative lighting to start with), and Mike Q kept people on their feet throughout the night. If you're the type of couple that largely just wants to leave things in the hands of the professionals after establishing a few guiding principles, Maryland's DJ would be a godsend. My husband and I are both pretty persnickety and neurotic about certain things, and thus there are a few areas we felt could've been improved. However, in this day and age it deeply hurts a business to leave anything less than a 5 star review unless they were truly lacking. Our criticisms are pretty minor, and meant to be constructive. A few announcements were a bit jumbled, and the audio quality on one or two songs was weirdly grainy. We left a lot of notes in the app prior to the wedding, so I can understand we may have provided a little too much input on certain things that didn't go exactly perfect. While we mentioned we wanted to get the slow dances out of the way early in the night to maximize folks' dance time, this was taken a bit to the extreme and my husband and I were still chewing our cake for most of our first dance. Nevertheless, these are all in the long run small issues that didn't detract from our happiness that day. Our guests largely didn't notice, either. We've heard so many DJ horror stories from other couples (and witnessed a few firsthand ourselves at others' events) that I would still say our experience with Maryland's DJ was generally fantastic.

Jordan did an amazing job of personalizing the entire wedding experience for us! He took the time to go through songs that were a must play, play if we had time or the vibe was right, and songs that were absolutely do not play! We hired Steve to provide music and entertainment for our reception and ensuing dance party. I would say that working with Steve, and his performance at the reception, was the absolute highlight of our entire wedding. From our first conversation, I could tell that Steve was fully on board with our plan to have a progressive/electro house dance party. We provided some songs as inspiration, and he gave us a live demo at his office, demonstrating his mixing style as well as other songs he’d found to match our taste. He accommodated my mom’s insistence on using a medley of Prince songs for the mother/son dance, and he transitioned from that into his DJ set absolutely flawlessly. I will never forget standing in the middle of the dance floor with my now-wife, surrounded by our friends, as the final guitar solo of “Let’s Go Crazy” played out, ending with Steve announcing “Your dance floor is now open!”, immediately followed by the drop of “Feel So Close” (Calvin Harris). People went nuts and it was awesome. Additionally, Steve is just an all around fun guy to talk to and work with. He gets my highest recommendation. 1
I really don’t even know where to start. We have not stopped receiving messages from friends and family about how much of a blast they had. Jordan was absolutely incredible, his demo meetings were some of the most helpful we had throughout this season whole process, his online portal was such a great tool to have while planning. DJ Brian was amazing. About a month before the third planned wedding was to take place, we found ourselves without music for the day. A friend of a friend has worked with Jordan, recommended him, and within 20 minutes, we had a scheduled phone call to work with our unique wedding day. After going to multiple weddings with boring, unorganized DJs who played awkward and cringeworthy music, my husband and I knew we wanted better for our wedding. That’s how we found Jordan at Maryland DJ. From our amazing initial meeting, where Jordan mixed our favorite songs into a mini-set list, I knew Jordan was the perfect choice for the fun, energetic wedding we wanted. Our family and friends have not stopped praising Jordan and our wedding’s music: “that was the best wedding music I’ve ever heard” and “every song he played was perfect”. Jordan kept the dance floor packed all night, including my 3 year old cousin and my 70 year old great aunt. He played one amazing song after another, totally embracing our music tastes. Jordan also makes the wedding process as smooth as possible. His portal helps plan your ceremony and reception while giving you plenty of suggestions for “must-play” songs, parent dances, first dance songs, etc… At the wedding, he makes sure the ceremony and reception run smoothly through his promptness, his announcements, and his guest interactions. He isn’t corny or cheesy, but he will make sure everyone gets up dancing! We loved how thoughtful Jordan was through the entire event. He arrived early to the venue and even offered to help my dad and brother set up our chuppah. He checked in with us about 30 minutes before the end of the night to see if there were any last minute songs we still wanted to hear. And, when I put two musical songs on our cocktail hour/dinner playlist, he included some “Hamilton” and “Dear Evan Hanson” which made the night even more special and personalized. I have nothing but good things to say about Maryland’s DJ and Jordan (great guy!). One of my favorite things about Maryland DJ, is their super fun photo booth which we’ve had at multiple special family celebrations. One of the photo booth settings “boomerang” makes for some legendary memories. (And somehow always makes everyone look good). In fact, one time we took a photo booth boomerang collage with my Grammy’s walker, doing fun dances, and it was quite hilarious. All in all, 1000% would recommend! 1
Jordan was such an amazing DJ for our wedding day! He made sure to meet with us at least once prior to the wedding, and gave us an in-person demonstration of his talent. He asked that both my husband and I tell him a few songs or genre of music that we liked, and then he was able to easily mix this music together into songs that flowed beautifully. On our wedding day he eased my nerves by assisting with the flow of the ceremony and the reception. His step-by-step online portal allows you to choose every detail in order to ensure smooth transitions and lots of dancing on your special day. Maryland's DJ was the best DJ we could have ever pictured for our wedding. Not only were they extremely easy to work with, they were helpful to us during such a chaotic time in the world. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted for our wedding. They provided all microphones for the ceremony and reception, music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and made announcements throughout the event to make sure everything was flowing exactly as we wanted. Jordan retrieved drinks for me and my husband the whole time and just did everything to make sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. They included the most fun, open, safe (since we have to think about these sorts of things during this time) photo booth that everyone had such a blast participating in! They even helped us navigate a medical crisis we had at the end of the event. This company was fantastic from day one, they set up a couple different virtual meetings with my wife and I and we just got a great feeling from them from the start. They are great people to work with. After hearing our music taste, they set us up with DJ Steve Hartka for our wedding and he was AMAZING. We got to make a list of "must play" songs, as well as "do NOT play" songs, and Steve took our music vibes and applied it to the rest of his playlist. We added the photo booth which was a huge hit with us and with the guests. Jordan was amazing during this entire planning process, he always replied in a timely manner and made every little request I had seem like no biggie and made it happen! Maryland's DJ absolutely nailed our wedding, no other way to describe it. DJ Mebaa stepped in to DJ our ceremony and reception as a last minute change in plans; my wife and I felt supported and in good hands the whole time as a result of Maryland's DJ's planning and attention to detail. Mebaa, with only a few days notice, played all ceremony songs perfectly, timing choruses/special parts of songs perfectly with the arrival of the wedding party/the bride as they walked down the aisle. The reception was an all out blast - Mebaa read the room perfectly, following one banger with another and keeping jaws dropped the whole night with great songs. He also surprised my wife and I with a special last song dance to a song that we adored. I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ, and Mebaa specifically. They made our special day the best it possibly could be, and know how to please their clients, no matter what circumstances arise. Aside from my wife and I, we had almost everyone we interacted with on the dance floor comment on how good the DJ music and service was - we are so glad we went with DJ over live band! 1

Mike Q DJ-ed our wedding and did a fantastic job. He was flexible and worked with us on last-minute changes with outstanding professionalism. We had a variety of song choices, and he mixed them expertly. Whenever he played a deep cut that our friends enjoyed, he followed it up with a crowdpleaser to keep everyone on the dance floor. We also told him a "passcode" required to make song requests, and he announced that to the reception guests. We didn't intend that, but it actually made for a fun game. Our guests were interested in the passcode idea and thus made thoughtful song requests throughout the night. I'd recommend Mike Q to any couple looking for a high-energy reception.
I am a wedding photographer and worked with DJ Brian Doane for a wedding last weekend and was very impressed. Not only with his professionalism but with how he made all the guests feel along with myself! As a Dj, it’s so important to have a good personality who is outgoing and gets the crowd excited. Without a good Dj, receptions aren’t a good time and this was definitely a GREAT time! Brian was super easy to work with and we made sure to keep each other prepared as they day unfolded! Jordan DJ’ed my Dad’s surprise 50th birthday at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge. Jordan was extremely nice and helpful through the whole planning process. He checked in with my Mom and I several times to ensure that all of our questions were answered and that we were ready for the big day. The music was great, the lights were awesome, and Jordan was a fantastic MC through the night. If we have another event that requires a DJ, Jordan will be our first call. Jordan was absolutely THE BEST DJ! Periodt. Our dancefloor was packed for 4+ hours because of Jordan. The way he weaved in our "must play" songs into other songs and remixes that fit the vibe of the room was truly masterful. To keep that many people going for that long was really awesome. Even during the cocktail hour and dinner, the music he selected was perfect. So many people came up to us both during and after the ceremony to ask "where do I find that song," because the music was so perfectly us they assumed we had made a playlist. But no, it was all Jordan. He took the time to actually get to know us before the ceremony, to pick up on exactly what we liked (and just as importantly disliked) so that the music would be perfect. Also, can't emphasize how impressed we were with the uplighting he provided, which really added an extra element to the room. The photobooth was also amazing. Would 100% recommend Jordan!!
Brian was great, and he made our slightly eclectic mix of swing/big band songs and millennial nostalgia dance hits really work! That moment after the first dance when he encouraged everyone to head to the dancefloor was incredible and exactly what I wanted out of the evening. We got married September 21, 2019 and we will always remember the 21st night of September because of our amazing DJ, Brian! Brian was amazing to work with on our wedding day and the many months leading up to the wedding. He asked for a timeline months in advance so we could pick the perfect song for each moment of the ceremony and reception. He even gave us suggestions when we were unsure of what song to play when we were being introduced as husband and wife, and even offered to remix a few songs for us. Our family and friends are still talking about how much fun our wedding was and it is largely due to the music and lively atmosphere Brian created. We cannot thank him enough and will recommend him to anyone we talk to. This dude knows music and knows how to turn a party into a PARTAY!

I was recommended by a friend to work with Maryland's DJ and that is about as much thought I put into it praying for an easy experience, and they absolutely CRUSHED IT. We had to postpone a year due to COVID-19, we wanted it to be a big party for everyone the whole time, and we were having a mixed marriage so we were worried different music tastes might make our "big party" goal complicated. Immediately had no worries on our wedding as everyone was vibing the whole night! Brian was our DJ and he knew the perfect moments to mix songs. We listed a couple songs to play, but Brian got the gist of what we wanted and it was a just a blast. There was never a wasted moment and never a feeling that a song had been cut short either. College friends, my parents friends, cousins, and my 90+ grandmother all felt the same way. It was not easy to entertain so many so long, but just an awesome feeling when it happens. We opted for the photo booth that sent photos directly to your phone which was such a cool thing to have, and we also got uplighting to add a little more atmosphere to our venue and dance floor. Lastly, my wife and I STILL were deciding on some songs two days out (!!!) and never once felt pressured into making choices, and were assured that everything would be great, and then we lived happily ever after. I was looking for the best of the best. And I got it. DJ Steve was impeccable! He followed out timeline exactly how I was hoping he would. But also he gave me the option to adjust it if I wanted to. He held down the fort because the other vendors were not as on top-of-things. Pretty solid! Everytime I wanted to see him to ask him something during the reception he was right there asking the same thing. I couldn't be happier. I wish I could have the soundtrack to the night! 1

We were affected big-time by the pandemic. Not only did Steve and his team work with us on finding a new date. But we didn’t lose any money whatsoever. Then when the new date finally came we had an amazing time, nobody left the dance floor the entire night. Not to mention the Photo Booth was pretty amazing. NEW Neil was amazing on our big day. He made the pre planning and event execution go very smoothly. He also brought a controlled and calming presence at our wedding, which was a refreshing experience since everyone else around us was chaotic. As one guest said, our son's bar mitzvah was "the best party I've been to in 20 years!" Since he was our decorator, he's been to a few parties and knows what he's talking about! Credit definitely goes to DJ Laz and his team! They kept the energy level just right and seamlessly covered time when the caterer was delayed. The photo booth was a highlight for our guests, and the Epic Events team was great at making the photos special with a custom layout. A great company to work with from beginning to end!
We just used Epic Events for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah and they were amazing!! Wendy was our MC and she came full of energy from start to finish. The whole staff was fun and easy to work with from start to finish. The energy brought to the party was incredible, the kids and adults were dancing and playing games the whole time. I can't say enough positives about Epic and definitely recommend!
I hired Jared and Epic events for my 13 year old's party this weekend. They are awesome! Awesome! They so surpassed my already high expectations. I don't recall being at a party that had both an MC and DJ, let alone "Motivator/Dancers" but I get it now! Jared did a timeline for the party, was our DJ and ran games and was terrific from our first call to the end of the party. Ricky (the MC) is a Rock Star, all the adults were in awe of his talent, the dancers/motivators were great, the photo booth was a hit. The kids and adults all had a great time. I am so appreciative of Epic's team and their making the party a success. Epic Events was worth every penny. They made the party fun from the first moment to the last.

When I found myself without a DJ for my wedding nine days out I started to panic. Then I gathered myself together and gave Jared Rosen a call. Jared pulled everything together for us in less than a week and a half, making sure to go over all of our requests that we wanted (or specifically didn’t want) for both the music and the event in general. And then he put everything into action exactly as we had discussed; our guests were shocked when we later told them how late into the planning he had come on board. I cannot sing Jared’s praises highly enough!

Harvey was amazing! 10/10. He was extremely prepared and could read the vibe of the event. We had a long playlist with many songs that were slow, so he played some of the slower songs during dinner and saved the more upbeat songs for dancing. He also respected our wishes about a quiet exit, which worked out because we needed to leave 15 minutes early. And I heard from guests that he kept the party going! The speakers directing music to the dance floor were great so the people with hearing problems could still hear each other at the tables. His attitude was great! He even switched from a polo to a suit when he saw most of our guests came in suits. His announcements didn’t interrupt the flow of music. Overall, he knew what we wanted better than we did!

DJ Neil Feldman was an amazing DJ! We had multiple video calls with him to square everything away for the wedding schedule. He was extremely professional and responsive before and during the wedding. I loved that DJ Neil didn’t play just a simple sound track of “Must Play” songs. He took our style of music and the vibe of the wedding and played everything that fit and kept people on the dance floor. He even took 1 of our favorite songs and mashed it with another one…my wife and I both looked at each other and smiled as soon as we realized the 2 songs and how well they flowed together. I would hands down recommend MD DJ’s to anyone getting married that wants to have a good time and dance the night away.
We had a 10/10 experience with Neil and Maryland DJs! Neil did a fantastic job not only honoring our song requests but also reading the room and perfectly capturing the vibe of our guests. Steve did a PHENOMENAL job!!! Right from the start, he did such a good job figuring out what vibe we were looking for and even provided his number for any last minute updates we would need. His playlist during dinner (which we had little input on besides acoustic modern songs) was amazing and people were coming up to us asking for his playlist 😂. Then, he captured exactly what we wanted in terms of songs on the dance floor and kept the energy extremely high which was SO important to me. I literally danced to every single song. We would give him a 10/10!!

Just want to start by saying thank you for how amazing the entire Maryland’s DJ has been. From our initial conversation to the wedding night, we’ve felt comfortable knowing you guys had us covered. With the hundred other wedding things we were managing, not worrying about the DJ situation was a massive plus. So a kudos to you for your professionalism and the help you showed us when we were still shopping around and trying to get a sense of things. Most of the credit should go to Steve. What a legend. I’m not sure he even knew where Moldova was on a map before our wedding day but they’d give him a citizenship after the party he threw for us all. 10/10 service, will recommend Steve and you guys for any weddings our friends have. We weren’t the most organized bunch, but he sat down with us and went through all the forms and song choices. We felt that we really aligned on our music preferences and he understood the wedding vibe we were going for. We also had a few traditions we needed to do and he helped us through it all! The party was so great we even made arrangements with him to stay later. Again thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our wedding night the happiest evening of our lives!

We had a great experience with Maryland's DJ for our wedding last June! When we first began researching our wedding DJ, we found it easy to set up appointments to speak with Jordan, who did a great job explaining the services they offer and matching us with our DJ Steve. During the planning stage, it was fun and easy to work on our song requests and timeline through the online portal, and in our zoom meeting with Steve, his expertise made us feel confident that he would be able to create the experience we wanted for our wedding day. When the day finally came, we were so happy with the music Steve chose for every part of our reception. Our reception was a bit on the longer side, so we were impressed that he kept our guests dancing the entire night! We are also so grateful for his professionalism - we found out later that we had a guest who was a bit demanding with requests, but he handled the situation with grace and without bringing it to our attention so that we could fully enjoy ourselves. We highly recommend Maryland's DJ and Steve!
We had Brian from Marylands dj and he was excellent! Our dance floor was crowded the whole time and he played something for all age groups :) all of our songs we wanted were played and everyone had the best feedback. The mixing was incredible and each song seamlessly transitioned to the next which kept the energy high at all times. Highly recommend!

They worked with us to make the planning very simple and straight forward. They were super helpful with recommendations for prelude and cocktail hour music. From the prelude music all the way until the very last song of the night, Laz and John worked with us to execute our vision flawlessly. Marylands DJ, and DJ Brian brought the energy for our wedding we were so happy to have them and have plenty of great mixes with all of the music that we picked. From the beginning Marylands DJ were professional and extremely helpful in our process. We were shown a great and informative presentation about their offerings, and Jordan walked us through the entire contract from beginning to end to make sure we had no issues! They had plenty of follow up emails and even incorporated some Polish music, as my wife is Polish-American, and made sure the crowd was always partying! DJ Alex did a phenomenal job not only during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and party… but perhaps most importantly, before the wedding weekend even started. When they packed up the photo booth towards the end of the evening since it wasn't being used often, we asked him kindly if it could be brought out again, and he was so accommodating and generous to set it up again. The very best! My now-husband and I are huge music fans. Finding the right wedding DJ was really important to us, and once we spoke to Steve and Jordan from Maryland's DJ, we knew our search was over. Steve was so incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. He played every single song we requested (including quite a few obscure/non-traditional songs), and did a great job of reading the room and playing music that kept people on the dance floor. He was also super kind and easy to talk to, and we greatly enjoyed working with him. Additionally, the online portal Maryland's DJ uses is incredibly easy to navigate, and helped make the planning process a genuinely fun experience. These guys are true professionals and absolute masters of their craft. I cannot recommend Maryland's DJ enough!
Truly the BEST! Steve was incredible! He worked with us to make an epic dance list that kept our guests dancing all night (including bride's favorite's like Ultimate from Freaky Friday, Miracles Happen from Princess Diaries!, and Year 3000!) - every DCOM child's dreams! He was able to read the dance floor and adjust accordingly - giving all his efforts and talents - not just picking a list a running with it! It was a blast! He even came to our after-party and chowed down on pizza with us! A fun guy all around and planning to attend his many other events around Baltimore!

He took the time to work with us leading up to the wedding to understand the vibe we were going for, help us with logistics for the ceremony, reception announcements and flow of the evening, and so much more. Jordan literally made our wedding a party! We had multiple meetings with him via Zoom because we needed help with song selections and he sat with us and helped us pick out the perfect ones! to say the least, 4 days after my wedding I was still getting non stop texts about how amazing my DJ was. Mike Q was the dj for my wedding, originally I made a playlist for him to play, after having multiple zoom calls to ensure everything went great - I loved the vibe that mike had and told him to play whatever he wanted to play. We had Harvey from Marylands DJ and I could not recommend him enough. My wife and I are terrible planners and major procrastinators but Harvey kept us focused without making us feel pressured. We gave him a few ideas and he ran with it and executed it perfectly. The music kept our dance floor full all night. It also helps that he has an excellent DJ voice.

DJ Mike Q was able to take a hodge podge assortment of genres and song recommendations and mix them so there was a little bit for everyone. I cant tell you how many weddings we have been to where the same classic songs are played one after the other, but DJ Mike was able to feel the vibe of the crowd and transition without anyone ever leaving the dance floor!

The way Marylands DJs works is that after an introductory meeting, we were paired with a DJ that they think will be a good fit for you. Brian did an amazing job for our wedding! He did both the ceremony and reception for us. The online tool they use to coordinate your music choices really makes it easy to communicate what you want without having to have a bunch of meetings. We had one final details meeting a few days before our wedding day and Brian hit the nail on the head with what we were looking for. Our guests had a fantastic time on the dance floor and people you would never expect to see out dancing were absolutely letting loose!

I first experienced Jordan’s DJ style at my cousin’s wedding 6 years ago, where I had the most fun at any wedding I had been to. I knew right then that when the time came, I was sure I would book him for my own wedding. We immediately connected with Steve when we saw the Gorillas Album int he background and we were impressed by how prepared he was from the start. It was so easy to work with Steve. He came to the walk through of the venue with our vendors and coordinator and was able to understand his three stations, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception set up areas. The form that we used to curate special touches, songs, dances, announcements, etc. made it easy to optimize our perfect day. We couldn't be happier to have Maryland's DJ at our wedding reception. In the beginning, Jordan helped guide us through their offerings to help us select the best options for our big day. The photo booth and lighting we selected were great additions to the venue - the photo booth was a star of the night. Their online system to input details and choose songs was easy to use and much appreciated. Then we worked closely with Mike Q on the details for the night itself - event schedule, song lists, introductions, etc. Simply put: Mike Q rocked our reception! He played the songs we requested and filled the rest of the evening with songs that matched with our vibe. He had a great pulse on the crowd and knew when to switch up to play some of the slow dances we requested. Our guests were thrilled and were dancing the entire night - we had multiple people tell us afterwards specifically that we had a great DJ. DJ Steve Hartka DJ'ed our wedding a few weeks back, and he did an amazing job! He kept the party going all night, and had everyone up and dancing from start to finish. He fit the exact mood we were going for in the reception and also made sure that all went off without a hitch during the ceremony. Meetings with him leading up to the big day were always upbeat and positive and we felt from the start that we could count on him to do an amazing job, which he did! The very organized portal system was great, and we felt that we could have a good mix of having control of the must-play songs while also trusting him to fill in the rest of the soundtrack. I am so thankful to Steve and his team at Maryland's DJ for absolutely bringing the party!! There are so many details that need the brides attention but he knew exactly what to do and totally understood what we were going for. His calls where detailed and helpful and professional which is more than I can say for some other vendors. I loved my wedding and spent the whole evening on a PACKED dance floor because of this man. He also did audio for our ceremony and was very helpful making sure everyone could hear even at an outside event. I cannot say enough about how great he is.
I couldn’t say enough good things about Maryland’s DJ. The entire process was simple. The first thing we did was a phone call with Jordan who was super sweet and really listened to what we wanted. I had known DJ Ryan Carr previously and found that he worked with Maryland’s DJ so I had asked if we could request him. Thankfully he was available and then a second call was set up for us to meet with the DJ and get a little more specific as to what we wanted. They also provide a website that you fill out timeline forms and music playlists at your pace. The website was really cool because we got to organize songs in categories such as must play, please try to play and absolutely do not play. This really helped solidify what vibes we wanted. Personally we picked maybe a total of 10 songs for this entire playlist as we wanted the DJ to do his thing. Come the wedding, DJ Ryan C and MC Rob were amazing! All of our family was dancing at some point and loved the energy they both brought. The MC was on the dance floor dancing with my cousins and really made the event such a good time. We also rented their photo booth which was an awesome addition. Everyone in the family loved this, including grandmoms! There is no doubt in my mind that I would book with them again for any event!

Jordan did an incredible job for my daughter’s and son-in-law’s wedding on New Year’s Eve, 2021. He was not the original DJ booked from his company, but filled in on an emergency basis and was the most professional and fun DJ we have ever had the pleasure to work with. He also brought the photo booth and up lighting and everything was done in the most proficient way. He never stopped the music and took us all the way to a countdown at midnight and beyond. This DJ was one of our best choices. He kept everyone dancing all night. They were so organized and did great with our introductions, toasts, and first dances. I’ve already recommended them to many and it’s only been a week since our wedding! We also used them for the photo booth as well which all the guests loved. Only thing is that not all the guests received their photos and those who did received a link that said they were from a holiday party and not our wedding. Jordan Solander of Maryland’s DJ was the best DJ ever! We booked Jordan as our DJ for our wedding at Elkridge Furnace Inn in 2020. After our first phone call, we knew immediately that we wanted to have him DJ our wedding. He is professional, has years of experience, and is so relaxed and chill, we loved his vibe! My husband and I both loved working with Jordan throughout the past 2+ years. When we decided to postpone in 2020, he was quick to make the rescheduling easy to do for our wedding in May 2021, then again in December 2021 (thanks Covid!). Picking our songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing was easy with Jordan’s platform. I felt like after Jordan looked at our song choices, he knew exactly what to play all night. Jordan read the crowd and knew exactly what to play next to keep the party going. He did a fabulous job MC-ing the reception, keeping the event on-track throughout and organizing the crowd for our sparkler send off also without coming across as at all “cheesy”. Jordan carries himself with the ultimate cool laid back vibe - perfect for this stressed out bride! He also handled a special request for my daughter singing an Adele song just right- miking her, loading her background track and allowing her to run through it once before the reception began. Steve was cool and confident and helped calm my nerves with every change or concern that cropped up right up to presenting us to the reception. Their planner portal is awesome! The Maryland’s DJ was a great experience throughout the entire process, from beginning to finish. They were very flexible in this current environment as the time change for the wedding, and they were very accommodating. They provide great music and the sound throughout the wedding, coordinating with the venue with minimal questions for the wedding party as they went over the questions prior to the day of the event. I don’t even know where to start. Steve undoubtedly made our wedding night the amazing party that it was. My husband and I have a wide variety when it comes to taste in music. Steve found a way to play everything we wanted at the perfect time. They’re planning portal made it super easy to make sure Steve knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t want played. When it came time to dancing, I don’t think there was ever a time that the dance floor was empty. I still don’t have a voice from all the singing we did. The best part of wedding planning was working with Jordan. He was extremely flexible with his time and was able to walk us through the event process. Their planning portal and online forms were fantastic tools that helped us create great atmosphere for the entire wedding (ceremony through reception).
Our wedding reception with Ryan as our DJ was absolutely perfect. He was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and communicative with us in the weeks leading up to the event, he was thorough in his timeline and realistic about possible time restrictions for our unique requests, and he was committed to correctly presenting introductions, toasts, etc. Besides his competent organization and professionalism, where Ryan truly impressed us was the night's playlist itself. We had submitted a large library of songs we wanted to hear and discussed our particular tastes with him, and his ability to take those wishes and translate them into a dance party was unparalleled. He hit all of our most important notes (I firmly believe that every wedding needs "Tubthumping") and impressed a multi-generational guest list with selections from the 70s and 80s, seamlessly transitioning to modern hits. He consistently responded to the crowd's energy and had us dancing our asses off from the moment the dance party started to the very end of the night. Our guests are still raving about some of his inventive mixes (Ask him about his mashup of "Feel Good Inc." and "Toxic", or his Backstreet Boys medley intercut with "Turn Down For What"). Ryan surpassed all of our expectations and was integral to what was easily the best night of our lives.
Habtu was a dream! He took all of our requests and do not play songs seriously and always catered to us! He even took pictures during the ceremony, angles that I haven’t seen from anyone else! His mixing was great and he kept the party going the whole time! He made wonderful announcements and each song’s timing was perfect! When I had enough of the first dance and father dance, all I had to do was give him the look. SEAMLESS!

DJ Mebaa is way too good at his job. During the planning stages, he made sure to check in with helpful reminders, and he was great at meeting us where we are and walking us along the process. He took note of not only the songs we wanted for our wedding day but generally what kind of music we liked and the moods we were trying to set. On the day of, he was completely professional, arrived on time, checked in to make sure we were good, and always flexible and accommodating. He went the extra mile to coordinate with the other vendors and help out where he could, even if it was beyond what we expected from him. And greatest of all, he had EVERYONE on the dance floor for the whole time. We couldn’t have thrown this smooth of an event and this great of a party without him.

Kept the vibe we wanted throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing! He was great on the mic for introductions and announcements throughout the night. He was always responsive to our emails and phone calls. He was helpful with all of our questions and anything else we needed help on! We had originally planned to marry in Annapolis on May 1st but COVID19 restrictions for indoor venues and 10 person limits put the brakes on for everything. Four rounds of letters and three date changes later, we finally celebrated our wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum (AMM) on August 22nd. Flexibility and great service are how I would describe Maryland's DJ. Jordan worked with us the entire time as we navigated multiple date and venue changes. Our DJ, Steve Hartka, was awesome and worked with us in the final weeks before the wedding to make sure our Playlist was perfect and that every detail was covered for the big day. Our guests had an amazing time. The music was perfect and the photobooth was a huge hit. I would highly recommend Marylands DJ for any event!
Jordan was amazing during the entire planning process. The in-person demonstration got us excited for our party, and was a wonderful preview of the talent he has! He has been very responsive, and professional. Similar to many others, our wedding was impacted by COVID-19. Brian Doane was our DJ for our November wedding at Chesapeake Bay Foundation. In my opinion this venue can be one of the more difficult ones to navigate for music because there are many location possibilities for the ceremony to take place. Brian was so easy going and awesome to work with from start to finish. We had some music requests but he did a great job feeling out the crowd and kept the party moving all night! I don’t think our dance floor was empty the whole reception! He is a great friend and awesome DJ. I would recommend him for any event!
For bride and grooms to be - do yourself a favor and look no further, seriously! Jordan was amazing during this entire planning process, he always replied in a timely manner and made every little request I had seem like no biggie and made it happen! Using the portal (which was extremely cool!!) gives you the opportunity to give him a general idea of the type of music you want and keeps things extremely organized...Now more importantly, he had the crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE time. He is able to read the crowd and deliver. It’s only been two days since the wedding and I’ve gotten so many messages about the DJ and how incredible the music was and ho awesome his lighting work was. If you want the best of the best, you’ve found it.
To me, finding a good DJ was one of the most important parts of my wedding. We wanted someone who was current but that could also cater to our parent’s friends. Brian was recommended to me by a few different people. Our Wedding was not the easiest because it was in a remote location without wifi/service. We ended up contracting him for extra time because we didn’t want the party to end. Everyone told me how much they loved our DJ and a bunch of my friends are using him for their weddings. Steve Hartka from Maryland's DJ dj'ed our wedding at The Hotel at UMD and it was a huge success! The process started with a video call where he could demonstrate his dj style which was very cool. From there we were able to make a 'must play,' 'would like played,' and 'don't play' list to completely customize our playlist. We let Steve take it from there and he had our guests dancing all night long. We had UMD's mascot Testudo show up and Steve was happy to announce on cue and play the fight song. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dj for any event!
Our wedding was such a blast, people still talk about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Steve was also super easy to work with, he understood what style we were going for and kept everyone partying all night long!
We honestly could not imagine our wedding dance floor being any better. People were (not even kidding) begging the DJ to keep playing songs as the venue told us we had to go! The music and the energy was that good!! As someone who works with middle schoolers every day, I know they are a hard group to please. Steve was very good at working with the kids, but also with honoring the teachers' wishes as well. We have worked with him for a few years now and I will continue to do so!

We found Maryland's DJ through a wedding convention in DC, but also was referred to them through a co-worker of mine that used Maryland's DJ as their wedding DJ. Coming from a couple that is super into music, we knew it was a great recommendation! Jordan was one of the best wedding decisions that we made. When we first met him, we met in his offices where he took us through a whole experience of what our wedding music would sound like, both cocktail and reception. It was truly one of the coolest things that we got to experience during the wedding planning process and made us so excited to get a glimpse of what the big day would be like. Jordan also took us through his portal where you can submit requests and your timeline, etc. On the actual day, Jordan was totally stellar. I saw him right before we left for the ceremony and he put me at ease just by talking - he has a super calming demeanor. He truly is the best wedding DJ we could have ever asked for. So many of our guests came up to us during the wedding and afterwards saying how much they enjoyed the music and how perfect it was! WOW!! We had such an amazing time at our wedding! Jordan was the absolute best, we couldn’t stop talking about how we chose the perfect DJ. Jordan was an amazing DJ, totally accommodating to all of our weird and fun music requests and it was so nice to have someone familiar with our venue and knew exactly what needed to be done with lighting to make our plan B ceremony look beautiful despite the rain. This was my first experience with a DJ service and it was fantastic. Mebaa and his team engaged the crowd, had everything including lighting well prepared before our arrival. He was not pushy he offered suggestions which made things flow better that I could have thought. We used their photo booth which the crowd LOVED. Everything was beyond my expectations. I’ve been two 3 weddings done by Maryland’s DJ and each one including my own have been absolute blasts. I had the pleasure of working with Steve and he killed it. Maryland’s DJ was awesome to work with. They have an online system to put all our songs we want plus the ones we didn’t. They played many extra songs that went perfect with our crowd. Jordan is beyond amazing and is truly one of the best DJs I think I've ever come across. I met him years ago when he was just starting out and remembered him being good. I kept his info because I thought maybe one day I would have a need for a DJ? Fast forward 5 years later, I got engaged and he was the first person who came to mind when we deciced to go with a DJ instead of a band. My now husband and I went to meet with him and to get a preview of what he could do and both of us were blown away. We signed our contract that same day. The entire year and a half we were engaged, I was constantly telling people how excited I was about our DJ and how I knew he would make our wedding one of the best parties our guests had ever been to. Our big day finally arrived and Jordan totally delivered. From ceremony into late-night, he knew exactly what we wanted and nailed it. Jordan is AWESOME! We had 185 people at our wedding and he handled the crowd with ease. He kept the intros/ and beginning dances on scheduled and got the dance floor rolling right on time. Once we opened the dance floor he had the whole party dancing all night from teenagers to grandparents (even my 82 year old grandma was on the floor dancing to everything from Michael Buble to David Guetta). We aren't big dancers in my family, so Steve had a challenge -- but he was able to get everyone up and smiling and dancing until our 10:30 exit! The energy never slipped. Very easy process communicating and planning. We got lots of compliments on our wedding and many of them mentioned the DJ (Steve) in particular. Steve never said anything cringey or cheesy but was able to make great announcements when needed. One of my favorite memories is cutting our cake to "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" by CAKE (get it?) while hearing our guests singing along. Tons of fun. Highly recommended.

Jordan was everything we could have wanted for our wedding DJ, and more. From the very beginning of the demo process with Jordan, through using the online planner, and working directly with Jordan, everything was easy, laid back, and smooth. He listened to the vibe we wanted and played all the songs we requested, expertly mashing up with different crowd pleasers with seamless transitions. He did an unbelievable job of keeping everyone out on the dance floor and everyone had the best time! Jordan casually checked in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was good and running on schedule, to see if we had requests, and to make sure that we were ready for things like speeches, parents dances, etc. Jordan did uplighting too, which was beautiful and the exact color we requested! Our guests couldn’t stop commenting even days after the wedding at how great the DJ was and how much fun they had. If we ever need a DJ for a future party, it will have to be Jordan.
Jordan and the Maryland's DJ team delivered the dance party of the century! Our friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding a few weeks ago! Not only did Jordan know exactly what we wanted, what to play and when, and how to mix songs, but he did the music for our entire event - from pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour, all the way through the reception dance floor that lasted over 3 hours! After a few hours of dancing I started getting nervous that people were going to get worn out, but Jordan knew exactly what to do - he threw on a slow jam, which got people up to dance with their date, and then they were refreshed and stayed on the dance floor for the rest of the night! The entire experience with Jordan was amazing from start to finish. He asked a lot of questions, gave us a lot of information, and helped us curate an amazing party for our family and friends. Our only regret was that we can't do it every weekend - we even jokingly talked about annulling the marriage just so we would have to do it all over again. We decided that was too drastic, but we will definitely figure out an excuse to hire Jordan again... and you should too! You won't regret it :)
We met with Jordan on the recommendation of our photographer (Photography by Brea), and from our initial consultation we knew that he was the perfect choice as our wedding DJ. After being to so many weddings with standard, line-dance heavy playlists it was instantly intriguing to listen to his demo of songs mixed right on the spot. Jordan seamlessly balanced our diverse musical tastes (including having Journey on the bride’s “must play” and groom’s “do not play” lists), acted as MC for wedding activities as needed, and coordinated with our caterer and photographer to ensure our evening ran smoothly and on schedule. He checked in with us throughout the night, making sure we were enjoying ourselves and even grabbing the groom a drink when he noticed it was empty. As a couple who are not generally huge dancers, it says a lot that we never left the dance floor! Jordan helped make our wedding a true celebratory party and we would highly recommend him!

Jordan is the best DJ out there! If you have a rough and rowdy crowd like we did or a crowd that needs to be persuaded a little to get up and dance, he will make it happen. Throughout the reception Jordan checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay and see if we needed anything. Where do I begin?! Jordan is above and beyond what you can expect from your wedding DJ. Well before the wedding, we met with Jordan and discussed what we were looking for, what type of genres we wanted covered, and what we expected the overall feel of the wedding to be. Everything was cataloged and noted and he truly listened to every question, comment, and request we had. A few weeks before the wedding we met with Jordan again to finalize the timeline of the wedding, which specific songs we wanted played or not played, and any last minute details he should note. He took interest in every detail and really wanted this to genuinely be a perfect and free-flowing wedding day for us. Jordan was available from the moment I reached out to him originally up until the wedding date. He responded to any questions I had quickly and always made me feel comfortable that everything was under control. With his commanding presence, he MC'd the whole wedding day! He introduced us and our families at the reception, queued the "Hava Nagila" dance to a crowd of almost 160 people, and kept everything moving right along. There wasn't a pause to the dancing! Everyone from my 14 year old cousin to my 75 year old grandma was busting a move on the dance floor. His song selection and his transitions to other songs were fluid and appealed to everyone (which is what we wanted). I can't imagine anybody else DJ-ing our wedding. He is organized, communicable, transparent, and just plain fun! I wouldn't hesitate one more second and just make the best decision for the sake of your wedding day- choose Jordan as your DJ. He met with us throughout the process to ensure that the music you played was representative of our traditions, loves, and other great tunes that were similar to what we enjoyed. Our guests were quite complementary of his work and we enjoyed that he kept all of us on the dance floor. Moreover he pronounced everyone, including ours, names correctly and had such great enthusiasm during the reception! We appreciated that he met with us over Skype again the week before the wedding to go over everything and ensure the finishing touches were great. We even received compliments on the music you played well people were waiting for the wedding procession. He’s a great DJ, I’m glad we found him!
Jordan was an excellent DJ for our wedding. Leading up to the big day, we met with him several times to work on what music we like and the format of our reception. On the big day, he transitioned so well between the cocktail hour, intros, dining and dancing. Everything flowed so well. Our guests never stopped dancing throughout. We could not have been happier and would definitely recommend/ use Jordan again for an event!
I through up right before the ceremony, on the dock, and Jordan didn't miss a beat. He was professional for the entire night and really helped make our wedding into the great experience that it was.
The first time we met Jordan was to experience him DJ and mixing music live for us. He listened to our likes, dislikes and knew how to transition the songs and make song we thought we liked even cooler! From this experience we had the opportunity to see his amazing talents, most DJs could only dream of. He was always quick to email with follow ups, ideas, and always open to meet. Our goal was to dance the whole time at our reception. Though this is usually unheard of, we asked Jordan for little to no classic songs and to just play what we like. Not only did he get us to dance the whole time but NO ONE (literally no one) left the dance floor from my 15 year old cousins to my 93 year old great aunt. Jordan not only DJed but was an amazingly thoughtful MC. He checked in with us during the night and if there was momentum on the dance floor he asked us if we wanted to do what was scheduled for that time or keep the party going. Jordan also took care of the equipment we needed for the ceremony which was a huge help knowing that we could get everything we needed from one vendor we trusted. Jordan made our wedding exactly how we envisioned it being and I would hire him for any big event I have. He is thoughtful, professional and undoubtedly talented.

You have to hire Jordan to DJ your wedding! Seriously, I couldn't recommend him more highly. I was nervous about finding the right DJ and Jordan totally put me at ease. Before the wedding, he did a private demo for us so we could hear him at work but also so he could better understand what we liked and disliked and then tailor the music for our wedding accordingly. He was very responsive and great to work with throughout the process. Our guests danced the night away and Jordan got rave reviews from our friends and family. And to top it off, the price was on point, too!

Jordan is a close friend of my husband Andy's. Andy is a DJ himself and giving up this role that he takes pride in was hard for him. I don't think we could have felt more comfortable leaving our special day in anyone else's hands. Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. Our wedding went until 1am and one of my biggest fears was that people would leave early, did some leave earlier in the night yes, however, 1am came and our dance floor was filled!!!!

Words cannot express what it was like to have Jordan as the DJ at our wedding. If it was not for Jordan the entire ceremony and reception would have fallen apart. This was an unexpected part of his job. My wedding coordinator lacked coordinating and he took over. The entire day/night was stress free and went perfectly. He hinted at when certain things should occur and prepared my husband and I at a meeting before the wedding. There is so much that goes into the music for the ceremony and reception and without Jordan we would have been lost. I did not know Jordan before I booked him as our DJ, but he has become a friend. He was supportive, friendly, and made the environment uplifting. I have never seen so many people dance and celebrate like they did on the night of our wedding. Jordan was the absolute best vendor we had at our wedding. He played every kind of music. He played relaxing soft rock/pop/country during the cocktail hour and dinner. THEN he played tons of dance music from stations like 104.3 and 106.5. The reception was high energy! It was an appropriate mix of music the entire night. The sound quality was great and he was not a corny DJ like they mention to beware of in bridal magazines. He didn't tell jokes or steal the attention. He was down to Earth and everyone loved him. All 150 people have complimented my husband and me. They say that they have never been to a more beautiful and fun filled wedding. We owe the success of the evening to Jordan! He added so much to our special day.

Amazing team walked us through the whole process. Steve, our DJ was perfect. Flexible with meetings, willing to offer advice and experience, confident and reassuring. He was professional, approachable, and there were no hiccups. I’ve never seen a dance floor at a wedding so reliably full, never a lull or a bad choice. Everyone loved him and commented on how awesome he was. He turned our requests and visions into something perfect.
DJ Harvey was the best!! He met with us multiple times before our wedding to be clear of the timeline and what we wanted our music to be like. At the event he was a great MC and was able to match music to our group to keep everyone on the dance floor. Even as the rain hit he was positive, and was able to move his equipment, as well as adjust our timeline on the fly to keep the party going. Harvey is the best, we would definitely recommend him.
We loved working with Maryland's DJ and DJ Theo! The team made everything easy - we had a walk through to talk about our goals for our reception and were matched with a DJ that they thought could make it happen. And DJ Theo certainly could - he was amazing! We also loved the planning tool they gave us to use for timeline creation, choosing songs, and more. The party was fantastic and we loved how smoothly everything went from micing up the ceremony to creating an awesome atmosphere for our guests during dinner, speeches and of course, the dancing! We were so thrilled the whole night and our only complaint is that it went way too fast. Thank you again to Theo for all the help you gave us as we were planning and for being our MC for the evening - it was a pleasure to work with him.

Jordan was great for our Halloween wedding! We worked with him for a few hours in the weeks prior to the wedding to get the mood right and his suggestions were always on point! He helped us bring a subtle Halloween vibe to a class affair, which is a strange thing to ask of a DJ! Overall nothing but compliments and helped make our day extra special!
Brian Doane was our DJ for our wedding and did a. Outstanding job. He was very responsive and helpful through the process. We had to change venues due to COVID and went above and beyond with helping us plan our big day. Brian has tons of experience with weddings and events and did a great job of reading the crowd and getting people on the dance floor.
I couldnt leave the dance floor sijce every song was a banger and so well faded/mashed in. We loved our so. We appreciate Steve listening to our request of noooo line dances!! Photo booth was also incredible.
Jordan is an AMAZING wedding DJ. We have him basic ideas of the music we wanted and he had people on the dance floor all night! He also was super helpful in keeping people organized and preventing any party snaffoos - a value I didn’t expect!! 10/10 definitely recommend.
We had Jamaal as our DJ for our wedding. From the get go, Jamaal was incredibly flexible with our itinerary. He had the air of a professional who would be able to pull off any requests we threw at him, and this level of confidence was very reassuring. The day of the wedding, Jamaal did a fantastic job keeping us on schedule with his MCing, and ticked all the boxes. His music had everyone dancing the entire night!
Steve was great! He kept us on track for the wedding. He knowledge with the polish traditions truly helped us with our planning. Our photographers kept pulling us away but he kept the party going! Thanks Steve!
Maryland's DJ was a last-minute addition to our 50th birthday party and we are very glad we hired them! We had a lot of fun with the online song selection portal: we we able to choose 25 "must-play" songs, 25 additional requests, and up to 10 on a do-not-play list. The portal also had a place to put the projected schedule - cocktail hour, dancing, cake, etc. Ebi was great, very professional. For example, he chose just the right songs for before and after the cake.
Jordan (the owner of Maryland’s DJ) is great and was professional and enthusiastic during the booking process. He even invited us to his studio to hear him spin so we would know for sure if it was a good fit. He was a total pro and really understood our music preferences. Unfortunately, Jordan ended up not being able to DJ our wedding due to covid related wedding rescheduling. While we totally understand that things pop up, we weren’t blown away by the backup option, Brian. Brian played the songs we requested and followed our timeline, but wasn’t a great emcee. He was pretty soft-spoken and wasn’t as energetic as we had hoped. The speakers had noticeable feedback about 6 times throughout the night - especially during our toasts/speeches which was unfortunate. Brian wasn’t very assertive so this had an impact on the overall coordination throughout the night for the speeches, group photo, etc. All in all, we had a pretty good experience, but would probably not book Brian again if we had the option.
Had planned out a lot of things/announcements and songs. When the lte night snacks came out there was not an announcement. A special song was suppose to play and have an announcement with it which it didn’t. As bride and groom were coming in guests were suppose to spin their napkins around in the air, there wasn’t an announcement for that. Guest asked to play a song and as he walked away the dj gave a face and said no I asked him and there was some tension about it and he played it but it wasn’t an upbeat song like requested. I also wanted a special song to play for myself that was on my playlist , that wasn’t played. I dont believe he made an announcement to go outside for sparklers at the end of the night. I was surprised as we spent some time together and the reviews were good and I did hear good things. But it was still a great wedding and people enjoyed it
