Frequently asked

How many motivators do we need?
A good rule is one motivator per twenty to twenty-five kids. We recommend a count once we know your guest list and venue layout.
Do you handle the candle lighting?
Yes. We script it with your family, cue each song and keep the pacing tight so the room stays engaged.
Can you keep the music clean?
Always. We use radio and custom clean edits, and we will review any borderline tracks with you in advance.
How far ahead should we book mitzvah entertainment?
Mitzvah DJ companies in this area tend to book six to twelve months ahead for prime Saturday nights, and the season runs roughly September through June. Book the room first: the DJ setup, lighting and photo booth placement all follow the floor plan.

How do you keep the kids and the adults both happy?
By alternating instead of blending. Games and motivator-led dancing for the kids, music adults can talk over during dinner, and crossover moments like the horah that bring every generation onto the floor.

What games do you run?
Coke and Pepsi, dance-offs, freeze dance, musical chairs with a twist and trivia about the mitzvah child, among others. Each game is quick to explain, has a winner the whole room can see and ends while it is still fun.

Do you play the montage?
Yes. Montage cues are part of the package. Most montages run three to five minutes, and having the photos collected two to three weeks before the party leaves time to review a draft.
