Epic events made our event truly an EPIC one! Jared and his staff were on time, professional, and delivered top-notch service. We had an awesome DJ and a super fun photo booth. I highly recommend adding the mobile walk-around photo booth in addition to the stationary booth. It was great fun. Will book Epic the next time I have a special event.

As one guest said, our son's bar mitzvah was "the best party I've been to in 20 years!" Since he was our decorator, he's been to a few parties and knows what he's talking about! Credit definitely goes to DJ Laz and his team! They kept the energy level just right and seamlessly covered time when the caterer was delayed. The photo booth was a highlight for our guests, and the Epic Events team was great at making the photos special with a custom layout. A great company to work with from beginning to end!

Talk About Service! Wow, this team truly delivers. I called with a simple request: uplighting for a gala. Not only did I get that, I got so much more. After learning about their Photo Booth setup, I decided to add that too. Here’s where the exceptional service comes in. When it came time to choose a backdrop and the wording for each photo strip, I made my selections. But Jared asked if he could tweak them a bit, and of course, I said yes. He’s the expert! He helped me choose a more fitting backdrop and adjusted the typography to better align with our theme. It made all the difference. And the service didn’t stop there. Throughout the evening, Jared lent his expertise again and again. He knew the venue inside and out, guided me through its lighting and sound setup, and even saved the day when our stage arrived without a skirt or carpet. Within thirty minutes, he had a solution, his connections in the events world pulled through, and our stage looked perfect. All of this to say: Jared and his team go above and beyond. Their attention to de tail, professionalism, and genuine care made our event shine. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Epic events was fantastic from start to finish. The event planner was easy to use and incredibly well organized. Company owner and our DJ Jared offered incredible customer service and he and our motivator Dushaun kept kids and adults energized and engaged throughout the event. In addition to the music, Epic provided a great photo booth experience and quality decor and lighting. I highly recommend Epic Events for any upcoming party.

We worked with Jordan for our wedding and my legs are still sore from never having left the dance floor. Jordan was involved in every stage of our planning process and made himself readily available for any questions, concerns, or random additions. He was even prepared for changes we needed to make on the fly, day of during the celebration. He read the room throughout the night and kept the dance floor packed and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect night; due in large part to Jordan and his team. If you need a DJ for an event you have coming up, there is really only one option in Maryland's DJ. The name of the company is fitting because they are by far "THE" Maryland's DJ and not just "A" DJ in Maryland  1 

My husband and I cannot recommend Maryland's DJ enough. Based on our preferences, we were paired with DJ Steve. We have been impressed with him since day 1. Having never planned a wedding before, my husband and I did not know the process. However, Steve walked us through everything. He was organized, clear, easily accessible, and had the crowd dancing all night. The company has a lot of prep documents which helped ups plan for the flow of the night and really consider what we wanted for our evening -- this helped so much. Would rehire again and highly recommend to others!  1 

We are so happy we worked with Maryland’s DJ for our September 2023 wedding. They were extremely responsive and offered insight/suggestions when asked. Steve Hartka was our DJ and he was outstanding. The dance floor was packed the entire reception! Multiple guests told us how great our music was and they couldn’t believe they danced the entire reception. We are so happy with our experience and definitely recommend this company to any couple who wants to have a packed dance floor!  1 

Had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Brian and Maryland's DJ! They have several DJ's in their company which I appreciated, the first meeting was seeing what kind of music we wanted played and what the vibes of the day we were looking for. We spoke with Andrew and he helped us figure out who would be the best match for us and he nailed it with us having DJ Brian! Everyone at the wedding said they had so much fun and everyone was dancing the night away. I think he did a great job of taking requests and playing what we wanted. They have a whole form and website to help layout the day and potential music suggestions which was incredibly helpful!! I do not have one single negative comment about them. I am so thankful that he was able to keep everyone dancing and giving the range of music everyone wanted and could relate to. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for a DJ!!  1 

The wedding was AMAZING! Brian did a phenomenal job picking songs off the must play list that kept people dancing. We got great feedback on the song choices and he clearly listened to us when we were discussing volume/ the Horah. Tyler and I were worried about music too loud; Brian did a wonderful job with that. On the dance floor, we could hear everything fine and by the tables we could talk at a good level! Moreover, for the Horah we asked for the moms/ dads to be lifted together and he did that, too. No complaints! During the ceremony and introductions he played all the correct songs, too! :D In conclusion, we were thrilled with the services and glad I asked my friend for her DJ company from her wedding in September of 2023. We will be recommending y'all! 

Laz & John were amazing, they had the dance floor packed all night long at our wedding! They interacted with the guests and were the life of the party. Highly recommend them for any event! We are thankful we booked with a company like Maryland's DJ. The original DJ we were paired with had last minute health issues and was swapped out the day before. The owner, Jordan, made sure Laz & John were up to speed and able to deliver a seamless experience on our wedding day (easy to do with the great online portal and planning forms they use for their clients).  1 

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Maryland's DJ. We worked closely with DJ Steve throughout the entire process and we both have nothing but nice things to say about him and the company as a whole. Steve was responsive with emails and their portal is a great tool for filling out forms and music choices, contacting your DJ and keeping track of your payments. The best part about the experience was the wedding day. Steve and his assistant showed up on time and had everything set up within an hour. He took down all of our important song requests. These guys are true professionals. Everything was so on point with ceremony and cocktail hour music. And the reception was one for the books. Steve and his assistant had our dance floor packed throughout the entire reception. We had multiple people tell us after the fact that it was one of the best receptions they had ever been too. And a large part of that is owed to Steve and Maryland's DJ for making our special night a truly memorable one.  2 

Jordan was the DJ for our wedding and did a phenomenal job. He's an awesome guy, and not only a great DJ but a great voice on the mic as well! His company's website made the entire process very easy. The LED lighting is 100% worth an add on, it looked incredible, and his speaker/stand set up looked very nice in the room. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Our experience with Maryland’s DJ was incredible from the beginning! We met with a rep virtually who led us through an extensive presentation of all they had to offer. He asked us about our vibe and matched us with one of their DJs accordingly. Then we met with our DJ Jamaal. They have an awesome portal where you add in all of your music requests, even when to fade out, etc. We had a meeting with Jamaal a month out and he was very flexible with all of our last minute changes. We 100% recommend Maryland’s DJ for anyone looking for a fun, professional, company to work with. 
