Chris Garcia
Known on stage as Sax Beast, a self-taught saxophonist who plays live over whatever the DJ spins.
Saxophone / Maryland's DJ
Chris, who performs as Sax Beast, is a Maryland-born saxophonist with Mexican and Guatemalan heritage. He has been playing for over a decade and is entirely self-taught, having learned by ear alongside videos rather than in a classroom.
That ear is exactly why he works so well with a DJ. He can find the line over almost any track on the fly, turning a familiar song into a live moment.
He is a popular add-on for cocktail hours, wedding receptions and corporate parties that want live energy without a full band.
